Trim Lt Pillar is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number TD1168290F34.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
Pillar Moldings Trim Lt Pillar replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
