Trim L B Pillar Upper is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number GK2E68210B80.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
Pillar Moldings Trim L B Pillar Upper replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
