Spoiler is the deflector or spoiler fitted to the Mazda, either for airflow or to protect the paint behind it. Genuine Mazda part number KMV6-51-960A-SZ.
Deflectors take the stone chips so the paint behind them does not, and once cracked they let water sit against the panel. Body-style specific — sedan, hatch and wagon versions do not interchange even where the model name matches.
Supplied in a raw or textured finish; painted versions need colour-matching.
