Splash Shield is the panel around the Volvo wheel opening that carries the arch line and shields the inner structure. Genuine Volvo part number 9140672.
Impact damage from a wheel strike or a minor collision distorts the panel and breaks the liner mounts, which then lets water into the cavity. Panels are handed and body-style specific; confirm the side and whether the car is a sedan, coupe or wagon.
Supplied in a raw or primed finish and must be painted before installation.
