Splash Shield forms the wheel-arch structure on the Kia, protecting the tyre cavity from road spray and debris. Genuine Kia part number 0K552-56211D.
Because the arch traps mud and salt, a panel that looks sound can be structurally thin behind the lip. Model year facelifts often change the arch profile even where the door and hood are unchanged.
Seam sealer and cavity wax are required along the inner joints after fitting to keep corrosion out.
Wheelhouse & Liners Splash Shield replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
