Sliding Window Latch is part of the door assembly on your Mazda and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Mazda part number zzm062241.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Latches Sliding Window Latch replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
