Side Molding sits on the Volvo body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Volvo part number 39843008.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
Moldings Side Molding replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
