Roof Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Mazda that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Mazda part number vay27060xb.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Panels & Extensions Roof Panel replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
