Roof Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Mazda that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Mazda part number d6y17060x.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Panels & Extensions Roof Panel replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
