Roof Molding End Piece sits on the Kia body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Kia part number 87228-2G000.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
Door Moldings Roof Molding End Piece replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
