Roof Header Panel is one of the small body fittings on your Mazda that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Mazda part number zzp070700.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
