Rocker Shaft Springs sits on the Kia body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Kia part number MF201-12166A.
UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
