Rocker Panel sits on the Nissan body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Nissan part number 76424-6GP0A.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
