Rocker Panel Guard is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number VC85-51-P50.
UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
