Rocker Panel Guard is the exterior trim strip on the Mazda that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Mazda part number t03251pl062.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
