Release Handle – Volvo (1202772)

Release Handle is part of the door assembly on your Volvo and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Volvo part number 1202772.

The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.

Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
