Rear View Mirror, is the Volvo door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Volvo part number 30634939.
Mirror damage is almost always impact-related — a clipped pillar, a tight garage or a car wash — and the housing cracks while the mechanism survives. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
Mirror Assemblies Rear View Mirror, replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
