Quarter Panel Gutter is the exterior trim strip on the Volvo that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Volvo part number 31675072.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
Sill Plates Quarter Panel Gutter replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
