Quarter Panel Extension is a body fitting on the Mazda that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Mazda part number b4yc7040x.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Check quantity on the listing: some fittings are sold individually and a full panel needs several.
Order the surrounding clips at the same time, since the originals generally break when the panel is removed.
Panels & Extensions Quarter Panel Extension replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
