Quarter Extension is a body-side fitting on the Kia — small, inexpensive, and usually the reason a larger panel will not sit flush. Genuine Kia part number 71550-P2000.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Check quantity on the listing: some fittings are sold individually and a full panel needs several.
No finishing required; fit directly.
