Pull Handle – Passenger Side (RH) – Volvo (39981612)

Pull Handle – Passenger Side (RH) is fitted to the Volvo door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Volvo part number 39981612. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.

Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Door hardware is handed — left and right are different parts. Check the side marked on the listing against the door you are repairing.

Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
