Pillar Molding – Kia (83134-38000)

Pillar Molding runs along the body side of your Kia, protecting the door and quarter panels from trolley dings and closing the gap between panels. Genuine Kia part number 83134-38000.

UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Fits 2001-2006 Kia Optima as listed. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.

If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
