Outer Rocker Panel – Driver’s Side (LH) sits on the Mazda body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Mazda part number N243-71-27X. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
