Outer Pillar – Passenger Side (RH) sits on the Mazda body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Mazda part number KD53-70-44X. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
