Nameplate is one of the identification markings applied to the Volvo at the factory. Genuine Volvo part number 9447707.
The foam backing degrades in sunlight, which is why original badges lift at the edges after a few summers. Check whether the emblem is a stick-on or pinned type; the pinned type needs the locating holes in the panel.
Self-adhesive backing; clean the panel with a wax remover and fit at room temperature.
Nameplates Nameplate replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
