Molding runs along the body side of your Volvo, protecting the door and quarter panels from trolley dings and closing the gap between panels. Genuine Volvo part number 1247040.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
