Molding runs along the body side of your Mazda, protecting the door and quarter panels from trolley dings and closing the gap between panels. Genuine Mazda part number KD53-50-7J1A.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
