Molding Extension Support Bracket is a body fitting on the Kia that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Kia part number 86577-C6000.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Confirm the model and year range on the listing; the same fitting is often used across several models but not across every year.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Body Brackets Molding Extension Support Bracket replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
