Molding Assembly sits on the Kia body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Kia part number 87370-D5070.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
