Mirror Installation Kit – W/ Compass is the Mazda door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Mazda part number 0000-8C-L08.
The mirror folds on a spring detent that wears out, which shows up as a housing that will not stay folded or will not lock back into place. Mirrors are handed and often model-year specific; confirm the side and whether the car has power-fold, heating or a camera.
Housing parts ship in a raw or textured black finish; painted covers need colour-matching.
Mirror Assemblies Mirror Installation Kit – W/ Compass replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
