Mirror Cover is the Mazda door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Mazda part number tk48691n7asy.
The mirror folds on a spring detent that wears out, which shows up as a housing that will not stay folded or will not lock back into place. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
Mirror Covers Mirror Cover replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
