Mirror Cover is the Mazda door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Mazda part number tk48691n1a2v.
The mirror folds on a spring detent that wears out, which shows up as a housing that will not stay folded or will not lock back into place. Mirrors are handed and often model-year specific; confirm the side and whether the car has power-fold, heating or a camera.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
