Mirror Cover is the Mazda door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Mazda part number TK48-69-1N7A-E4.
Heated glass delaminates and the mirror motor strips its gears, so a mirror that will not adjust or will not clear usually needs this part rather than the whole assembly. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
Mirror Covers Mirror Cover replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
