Mirror Cover forms part of the exterior mirror on the Mazda and either carries the glass or houses the mirror mechanism. Genuine Mazda part number BACS-69-1N7-13.
The mirror folds on a spring detent that wears out, which shows up as a housing that will not stay folded or will not lock back into place. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
