Mirror Base is the Volvo door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Volvo part number 31424825.
Heated glass delaminates and the mirror motor strips its gears, so a mirror that will not adjust or will not clear usually needs this part rather than the whole assembly. Check the connector pin count on the listing against the original before ordering.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
Mirror Assemblies Mirror Base replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
