Mirror Base is the Volvo door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Volvo part number 31108663.
Heated glass delaminates and the mirror motor strips its gears, so a mirror that will not adjust or will not clear usually needs this part rather than the whole assembly. Check the connector pin count on the listing against the original before ordering.
Glass is supplied ready to fit; take care not to touch the reflective surface when seating it.
Mirror Assemblies Mirror Base replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
