Mirror Base – Passenger Side (RH) forms part of the exterior mirror on the Volvo and either carries the glass or houses the mirror mechanism. Genuine Volvo part number 31477678. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.
Heated glass delaminates and the mirror motor strips its gears, so a mirror that will not adjust or will not clear usually needs this part rather than the whole assembly. Mirrors are handed and often model-year specific; confirm the side and whether the car has power-fold, heating or a camera.
Housing parts ship in a raw or textured black finish; painted covers need colour-matching.
