Mirror Assembly forms part of the exterior mirror on the Volvo and either carries the glass or houses the mirror mechanism. Genuine Volvo part number 31663290.
Mirror damage is almost always impact-related — a clipped pillar, a tight garage or a car wash — and the housing cracks while the mechanism survives. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Test the adjustment and fold functions before refitting the door trim.
