Mirror Assembly- Inside is the Nissan door mirror part that takes the brunt of kerb strikes and car-wash brushes. Genuine Nissan part number 96321-5YS1A.
Mirror damage is almost always impact-related — a clipped pillar, a tight garage or a car wash — and the housing cracks while the mechanism survives. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Housing parts ship in a raw or textured black finish; painted covers need colour-matching.
