Lower Pillar Trim runs along the body side of your Mazda, protecting the door and quarter panels from trolley dings and closing the gap between panels. Genuine Mazda part number dn4j6859yd39.
UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
Trim Panels Lower Pillar Trim replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
