Lower Molding – Kia (86525-1D050)

Lower Molding is the exterior trim strip on the Kia that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Kia part number 86525-1D050.

Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Fits 2007-2010 Kia Rondo as listed. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.

Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
