Lower Molding – Driver’s Side (LH) – Volvo (6817849)

Lower Molding – Driver’s Side (LH) sits on the Volvo body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Volvo part number 6817849. This listing is for the left-hand (driver side on US models) part.

UV exposure dulls the original finish and the mounting channel cracks, which is why a trim strip that is still attached can look sun-bleached and pitted. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.

If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
