Lift-Gate Pull Handle mounts inside the Volvo door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Volvo part number 39874828.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Handles Lift-Gate Pull Handle replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
