Lift-Gate Pull Handle is part of the door assembly on your Volvo and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Volvo part number 30899750.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Handles Lift-Gate Pull Handle replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
