Latch – Passenger Side (RH) mounts inside the Volvo door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Volvo part number 32277430. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Door hardware is handed — left and right are different parts. Check the side marked on the listing against the door you are repairing.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
