Latch Bracket is a body fitting on the Kia that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Kia part number 81135-3E000.
Once the fitting fails the surrounding parts work loose and start to chafe, so replacing the small part early prevents damage to the panel it holds. Fits 2003-2009 Kia Sorento as listed. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
No finishing required; fit directly.
