Latch Assembly – Passenger Side (RH) is part of the door assembly on your Volvo and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Volvo part number 31425845. This listing is for the right-hand (passenger side on US models) part.
The mechanism wears before the panel does, so a door that drops, sticks or will not latch usually needs this part rather than a new shell. Door hardware is handed — left and right are different parts. Check the side marked on the listing against the door you are repairing.
No paint required; the part mounts behind the door trim panel.
