Latch Assembly is fitted to the Kia door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Kia part number 89T60-L2010.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Latches Latch Assembly replacement for Kia. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
