Jounce Bumper is the outer skin of the Nissan bumper assembly — the first panel to take parking-lot contact, road debris and curb impacts. Genuine Nissan part number 55240-JA00A.
Cracks, scuffs, torn mounting tabs and crushed locating pins all show up here first, and a cracked cover cannot be repaired invisibly once the plastic has stress-whitened. Match the cover to trim level and sensor provisions — a cover for a car without park-assist has no cut-outs for the sensors and will not accept them.
Ships unpainted — plan for paint and blending into the adjacent panels.
