Instrument Panel Molding is an interior cabin panel on the Volvo that covers the door frame and carries the switchgear, speaker or handle. Genuine Volvo part number 32234522.
Water from a failed door seal or sunroof drain finds the back of the panel first, so staining or a soft backing often points at a leak rather than the trim. Check whether the door has a speaker grille, a memory seat switch or a puddle lamp, as each option changes the panel.
Work the clips in from the top edge downward and check the window seal before final seating.
Door Trim Panels Instrument Panel Molding replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
